Mt.
Hood, the tallest mountain
in Oregon, is located 20 miles east of Portland. Enjoy a private
limousine tour
to the top of Mt. Hood to Timberline Lodge. This tour also includes the Columbia River Gorge
tour and the famous
Multnomah Falls cascading 620 feet down the sheer basalt
cliffs and
Crown Point
and its 35-mile long panoramic view of the Columbia River Gorge. We visit several more waterfalls,
while following the
Columbia
River Gorge Historic Highway.
We then travel through the orchards
of the picturesque Hood River Valley through the Mt. Hood forest, up to
historic
Timberline Lodge, where
you can relax, photograph and enjoy the beautiful scenery and historic lodge.
If you choose to have lunch there, you can take "the magic
mile chairlift
ride" * to the picnic area at top of the mountain.
Ranger lodge tours may be available from 12-3PM.
We then conclude our tour with a scenic ride through the Mt. Hood forest
back to Portland.
A restaurant
stop at Timberline Lodge or a picnic lunch are available. We are proud to
