My Chauffeur Wine Tours,
Last Saturday My Chauffeur Wine Tours took my husband & I &
four out-of-town guests on the best (& easiest) tour of the Oregon wineries we
have experienced; the limousine was so well equipped, & the driver (Darren) was
so professional & personable.
Thank you for providing this wonderful service & enhancing
our wine tasting experience.

We had the best time! The wineries you chose were great.
Since we were all from the East Coast we were unfamiliar with the Oregon wine
country. We were greens for the day in your limo. We will definitely
choose "My Chauffeur Wine Tours" again!

Our experience with My Chauffeur was a very good one. Good
driving, polite and knowledgeable drivers, the ability for us to be flexible
with such a large group.
My only suggestion would be to clarify in advance which
wineries charge tasting fees, which My Chauffeur pays in advance, etc. We
decided to patronize one winery that wasn't on our original list, and only after
we were done tasting did we learn that there was a charge. Thanks!

40 minutes late for pickup.
inside the Krystal stretch limo was in poor condition. Nav
system/driver could not locate first winery resulting in delay.

best part of our girls Oregon Wine Country Weekend. Our driver was the
best. He even had excellent winery recommendations for the remainder

Friendly, attentive, helpful, not
aggressively pushing places that offer perks to driver. Vehicles could
stand some detailing. Denali is a tight squeeze for 6. Thanks for
promptly returning sweater.

We enjoyed it as many of us had never been on a tour before.
We were disappointed that you showed up 20 minutes past our pickup time. I
would also make sure you are up-to-date on the current tasting room fees.
Provide ice for the coolers as generally people might bring
food & beverages, but would not assume they should bring their own.

My Chauffeur Reply: Ouch, those are
hurting words for a company trying to do the best job they can. But they
are honest words, and we appreciate them very much. I am very sorry that
the group was disappointed, and hope we have the opportunity to
make it up to them someday soon.
In our defense though, a few things should be
clarified.
-
Of course we always try to be on time, but occasionally
we run behind schedule. Please keep in mind that we almost always allow extra time to the group at the
end, if desired, especially if we were late for the pickup. Wine
tour groups should not be on a stressed schedule.
-
One of the three ice cooler bins on this tour
was full, which is standard, as these are big bins which hold a lot of ice.
If additional ice is needed, as when extra food which needs to be cooled is
brought along, etc., , please notify us beforehand, so that we can be prepared.
-
We try extra hard to stay up on the often
changing tasting fees. Please bear with us on this, as we can make
mistakes.
It was amazing. very relaxing, very comfortable and the
exact get-away we were looking for.
Suggestion: maybe some suggestive routes applicable to
similar vineyards, or preferences.

knowledgeable and attentive. He is well respected at the wineries and was
so personable. He was an excellent tour guide.

Excellent, first class all the way. We already had some
wineries planned out to visit so the driver was able to accommodate our request
and fit in some visits to other interesting wineries along the route.
Keep up the good work. I've been on wine tours in
California (north & central coast), Europe, South America, NZ & Australia and
this ranks among the best!

Awesome! Chauffeur very knowledgeable
about wineries; very friendly and helpful. The Denali limo had very little
leg room. I would not suggest for tall people. 4 small women in our
group were cramped.

My Chauffeur reply: The chauffeur has
recently been versed on how to operate the CD. It's kind of a tricky
system in the Denali. Not sure about the glassware ,
though I know we do work hard on keeping it clean. Thank you for this

My Chauffeur reply: In the Denali, when they converted the interior into a
limo, it shrunk up a bit. The vehicle was converted to hold up to 6
passengers, 5 squeezed in the back, with 1 up front. But because of
the way it was converted, it really can only accommodate 2-3 adults
comfortably in the back, with 1 up front. We try to explain this to
everyone who orders this vehicle, and for most groups of 4 it works out ok.
We stress though, that if comfort for your group of 4 or more is desired,
order the 8 passenger stretch limo, or for groups of no more than 4, the
town car sedan. Thank you for your comments.

The chauffeur was nice. Arrived late, didn't have
our requests ahead of time that I had already talked to the company about.
Chauffeur took us to winery that needs res. w/no res. didn't have cash or
lunches to start tour.
Show up w/the vehicle reserved! Take time to call
winery ahead of time if you know they need reservation. Prep the
chauffeur. Horrible service on part of company, esp. for the price!!

My Chauffeur reply: We were short
2 chauffeurs on that day and had to use a backup affiliate company.
Usually using an affiliate co. works out successfully; but apparently this
time, the tour area (S. Yamhill County) was unfamiliar with the chauffeur
and maybe the chauffeur was inexperienced. All in all it was a
situation where we couldn't do the tour ourselves and did not have the
quality control. And this particular tour required a highly experienced
chauffeur. We dropped the ball on this one, and our apologies go out
to the Seehawers. Using affiliate companies is always risky and we use
them only as a last resort. We did not charge for this tour (affiliate
co. charged) and therefore cannot issue a discount, otherwise we would have. We sent them
an apology letter with a 50%
discount coupon. With this tour, we know we made a mistake.

Excellent tour and courteous chauffeur.
Accommodated all our requests and allowed us to choose the vineyards we
toured. Will see ya again in October '08.

Hi Phillip,
I just
wanted to let you know how our Prom experience went with your company on
Saturday, 26 April. It began a little shakily as our driver was given my
home address, not the address where the students should be picked up. You
and I had talked the evening before and I had also emailed the correct
address but this apparently wasn't given to Michael. Once I talked to him
and gave him additional directions, the fun began. The parents and kids were
very pleased with the bus. I think the parents were pleasantly surprised to
see how great the bus was. But the best part of all was our driver, Michael.
The kids adored him and he was awesome with them. My daughter, who set all
of this up, came home and told me all about Michael, what he's done in his
life and how nice he was to all of them. Her two favorite parts of the
evening were the dinner and the bus ride. Michael made the whole evening for
the kids and I would request him and also recommend him in an instant.
Please thank him again for us. He is a gem!

informative - suggestions for our dinner were appreciated. Lunch was

A couple of
repairs were needed in the limo - window controls etc. Main
disappointment was actually the town car to and from the airport - looked

Driver was lost
most of the time. Nearly caused several accidents turning around on
very busy streets/ She took us to wineries we did not want and could
not locate the requested ones. She was pleasant but seemed to be under
the influence of medication or something.
Do not let this
driver represent your company. I was very embarrassed in from of my
friends & family for having arranged the service.

The
chauffeur was great. She just did an overall good job. Tasting
fees are fine, but two or three things. 1. The chauffeur should know
all the tasting fees and alert the guests before the go in. 2. If you
are taking guests to wine tasting locations you should: 1. Make sure tasting
fees apply to wine purchased ( 4 graces did not do this) and/or arrange
discounts for your guests.
Arranging the tour: Process seemed very disorganized. Vehicle:
Escalade was way to cramped for people age 60+. You should tell
clients upfront what type of car will be used.
My Chauffeur reply: 1. With
over 200 wineries/vineyards in our local general visiting area, we cannot/do not even
attempt to know all the different rules each winery has about tasting
fees/wine purchases. But we can access this info fairly easily about
specific wineries; so I
suggest requesting this info if it is important to your group. Usually if
tasting fees are an issue, this is addressed before the tour. 2. There
are very few wineries where My Chauffeur has standard discounts,
unfortunately. 3. We do usually attempt up front to inform guests when
we feel the roominess of the vehicle may be an issue. Thank you for the
feedback.

The wine tour my group from Finland and the East Coast
experienced was excellent. The wineries we visited were expecting us and
provided great service. Our chauffeur, Tom, was fantastic - we never felt
hurried and Tom kept us (or at least tried to) on schedule. The limousine
was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. I would highly recommend My
Chauffeur Wine Tours for anyone's wine tour needs.

you on the marvelous experience you provide. This was our first wine tour
and an absolute blast. Our chauffeur, Tom, was prompt, friendly, and the
perfect guide. He was kind enough to hang close to us, explaining nuances in
the wines, and very helpful suggesting which wineries to visit. This was a

Dear My Chauffeur Wine Tours,
Tom was great! He had some great suggestions and very
accommodating to our needs! Really enjoyed him - and he knows a lot about
wine! It was a wonderful touch that there was bottled water and soda in the
limo. Thanks for making it such a special day! :)

The limo was a old in appearance - there were several
things that were broken inside the limo and a cracked windshield.

My Chauffeur reply: The limousine is a year 2000, and is a little old
looking, but still very nice in our opinion! We already replaced the
cracked windshield and are working on getting it some new paint. The
broken inside parts (I think she is referring to the broken window switch),
has been attempted by us to fix, but unsuccessfully so far, as it has some
unique wiring problems which are difficult to trace in stretch limos.
